Type and create long documents during class time:
Your device must have 
  • A keyboard and pointing device such as a trackpad or touch screen and a screen that is at least 10 inches (a full-sized iPad is OK).
  • Enough free hard drive space to store school related work
  • Enough battery life to last a school day (6 periods)
  • Wireless network connectivity (802.11n)
Create and edit word processed documents 
Your device must have a word processor such as Microsoft Word or Pages must be installed
Create and edit spreadsheet documents 
Your device must have a spreadsheet application such as Microsoft Excel or Numbers must be installed
Create and edit presentations
Your device must have a presentation graphics application such as Microsoft PowerPoint or Keynote must be installed 
Create and edit audio files such as Podcasts.
Your device must have an audio editing application such as Audacity or Garage Band must be installed 
Create and edit simple video clips. 
Your device must have a basic video editing application such as Windows Movie Maker or iMovie must be installed.
Browse internet content

Submit documents to teachers in formats they can read
